Weatherization
Under the Weatherization Program, owners and renters of mobile or standard homes can apply for energy conservation measures and services to reduce their energy costs. Houses that have NOT been weatherized in the last 15 years can be reweatherized. These services are FREE to those who qualify.
LiHEAP
The Summer Regular Assistance Program will close on Friday, August 29, 2025. The Summer Crisis Assistance Program will remain open through September 30, 2025, or until funds are depleted, whichever comes first.
North East Arkansas Transit
Afforable, rural transport that can provide transport for: shopping, medical, socialization, employment, education, or public services/facilities
NEARRC
Northeast Arkansas Regional Recovery Center Is Experienced In Providing Treatment Services For Many Substance Use Disorders, Including: Marijuana Addiction, Methamphetamine Addiction, Cocaine Addiction, Crack-Cocaine Addiction, Opiate Addiction, Heroin Addiction, Benzodiazepine Addiction, Inhalant Addiction, Alcoholism, And More.
USDA Child & Adult Food Program
CRDC’s Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) provides qualified child and adult care facilities and home centers the opportunity to be reimbursed through the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for food served to children or adults in their care. CACFP funds are also available for the meals and snacks served in At-Risk Afterschool Programs.
Regional Prevention Program
Raise awareness about the dangers of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. We provide resources and materials to help with prevention.
Housing Assistance
Safe and affordable housing is essential to building healthy families and communities. CRDC’s Housing Program plays a leading role in advocating for, developing, and managing affordable housing for low- and moderate income families and individuals in our region.
Family Enrichment Program
The Family Enrichment Program works intensively with low-income families and individuals to help them set goals, learn how to utilize resources and complete goals all to support them in becoming more self-sufficient. This program works to address key issues and provide supportive services to overcome barriers that stand between families and reaching self-sufficiency.
Limited Services
CRDC and the Craighead County Judge’s Office have joined together to bring medical assistance to the senior citizen population of Craighead County.
CRDC works to serve Northeast Arkansas when disaster strikes. In the past our area has been hard hit by tornadoes and flooding.
